President Ollanta Humala’s approval rating has tumbled for the sixth straight month, hitting a fresh low of just 29%. This is a figure more commonly associated with recent Peruvian heads of state than the ‘elevated’ popularity of around 50% he enjoyed only in April, but the speed of the decline is a serious cause for concern for Humala.
