NICARAGUA | Slight drop in exports announced. Exports fell by 6.8% between January and November, in relation to the comparable period of 2012, according to Nicaragua’s export agency (Cetrex). Although the volume of commodity exports rose by 2.6%, falling commodity prices – coffee, gold, peanuts, sugar cane, beans, bananas and dairy products – led to smaller revenues, explained Cetrex officials.
