Bachelet faces first protests

Development: On 22 March protesters took to the streets in the Chilean capital, Santiago, calling for a constituent assembly to reform the 1980 constitution, which dates back to the 1973-1990 military government led by General Augusto Pinochet, along with a string of other demands.
