Some 54% of Paraguayans consider that the government of President Fernando
Lugo is “doing little" to comply with its electoral promises, and 22% that he is
“doing nothing", according to a poll published by the national daily
ABC
Color this week. A minority 22% of respondents said they felt the
government was “doing a lot". The poll is intriguing because it comes out just
as Lugo is mooting holding a referendum on the performance of congress, and
possibly the executive and judicial branches of government [WR-09-23].
