Development: On 31 October the Dominican Republic (DR)’s office of the presidency rejected a statement from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) rebuking the country for its failure to implement a resolution issued by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (CorteIDH) related to the mistreatment of Haitians and Dominicans of Haitian descent.
