MEXICO | Bomber. On 2 October a court ordered the government to release Ramsés Villareal Gómez, whom the government claimed was a terrorist responsible for detonating six small bombs in Mexico City. The federal court's decision, on procedural grounds, is an embarrassment for the newly appointed Procurador General de la República, Arturo Chávez Chávez . It also shows that the Mexican court system is likely to come down hard on the government if there is evidence that it is cutting legal corners.
