PANAMA: PRD leadership resigns en masse

The leadership of the main opposition Partido Revolucionario Democrático (PRD) resigned en masse last week as part of declared efforts to “renovate and rejuvenate" the party from within. The collective decision belies the continued crisis plaguing the party, six months on from its defeat in the 3 May presidential and legislative elections.
