Chileans who reach their golden wedding anniversary between 1 January
2010 and 31 December 2013 will be rewarded with a Ch$250,000 (US$465) cash
bonus. While passing a decree to this effect last week, President Sebastián
Piñera said he was motivated by “a genuine gesture of gratitude, an act of
