MEXICO: A return to post-electoral rows?

The Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) launched a formal challenge this week to the result of the Veracruz state election held on 4 July. The PAN is also musing over challenging the results in Aguascalientes (where it lost) and Hidalgo, which its alliance candidate, Xochtil Gálvez, failed to win. Gálvez served in President Vicente Fox's administration (2000 to 2006) as head of indigenous affairs.
