Pressure grows on El Salvador’s Sánchez Cerén to address fiscal crisis

Development: On 7 November El Salvador’s Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional (FMLN) government led by President Salvador Sánchez Cerén described road blockades erected that day by mayors and supporters of the main right-wing opposition Alianza Republicana Nacionalista (Arena) party as an “attack” on citizens and the national economy.
