Where to for the national dialogue?

The future success of the four-year Moreno presidency will depend in no small part on the way the “national dialogue” develops. What is also an open question is whether the new president can retain the support of AP as he negotiates with the other parties, or whether the party, which currently holds a majority of seats in the legislature, will ultimately split between correístas and leninistas. In one scenario, Moreno might end up as a president supported by a multi-party coalition and no longer as the leader of a single-party government.
