Peru: Peru’s foreign trade & tourism minister, Eduardo Ferreyros, has announced that Peru’s total exports reached US$31.7bn in the first nine months of 2017, up 25% on the same period in 2016. While failing to provide absolute figures, he noted that Peru’s traditional exports were up 31.5% in the first nine months of 2017 compared with the same period in 2016, with mining up 27.4%, fishmeal up 64.5%, and petrol derivatives up by 65.4%.
