HONDURAS: Zelaya ruling removes final hurdle or does it?

Almost two years after his ouster on 28 June 2009, former president Manuel Zelaya should soon be free to return to Honduras without fear of arrest and prosecution. An appeals panel of the supreme court dropped the outstanding corruption charges against him on 2 May. The path is now almost clear for Honduras to be fully readmitted to the concert of nations, starting with the Organization of American States (OAS).
