Bolivia sets an unusual precedent

The government of Bolivia's President Evo Morales is once again showing its 'green' credentials. The only country to refuse to sign the UN Summit on Climate Change, held in Cancún, Mexico late last year, on the grounds that it did not go far enough, Bolivia is putting into place legislation that would grant nature legal rights - the first such law of its kind.
