Trinidad & Tobago: Some progress on crime

Since former soldier Gary Griffith was appointed Commissioner of Police in August, there have been huge expectations, by no means played down by Griffiths himself, that he will produce significant results in reducing crime. On murder, at least, there seems to have been some progress in the first four months of his tenure, but nowhere near as much progress as Griffiths says is still to come.
