* Colombia’s national statistics agency (Dane) has released figures which show annual inflation closed at 3.18% in 2018, down from 4.09% in 2017. According to Dane, four sectors registered inflation rates above the national average. These were: education (6.38%), health (4.33%), housing (4.13%), and transport (3.73%). Below the national average were food (2.43%), other costs (2.29%), clothing (2.29%), communications (0.28%), and leisure (-1.16%).
