In brief: Colombia

* Colombia’s tax authority (Dian) has released new figures which show that the Colombian government had raised Col$144.4trn in taxes (about US$46bn) in 2018 – a 6% increase from the figure received in 2017. The Dian added that domestic economic activity represented Col$121.3trn of the total whereas foreign trade operations amounted to Col$21.3trn.
