* The head of Venezuela's state-owned oil company (Pdvsa),
Manuel Quevedo, has held a bilateral meeting with India's oil & natural gas minister,
Dharmendra Pradhan, as Venezuela seeks to strengthen its energy ties with India.
Quevedo tweeted:
“We arrived in India to participate in the 13th International Oil and Gas Conference. We bring to the people of India the greeting of the President Nicolás Maduro to strengthen our energy, trade and political relations”. Venezuela is looking at possible barter payment arrangements with India as it seeks workarounds to US economic sanctions imposed on Pdvsa in late January.
