* Brazilian airplane manufacturer Embraer delivered a total of 181 aircraft in 2018, of which 90 were commercial planes and 91 were executive jets. While the delivery of commercial jets was within Embraer’s projections of 85 to 95 units, deliveries for executive jets were below the 105-125 range projections for 2018. Embraer, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of regional mid-sized jets, recently closed a deal with US plane-maker Boeing to form a new company made up of Embraer’s commercial aviation branch, in which Boeing will hold an 80% stake.
