* Brazil’s economy ministry has released figures which show that the country registered a US$3.67bn trade surplus in February, which represents a 10.2% increase on the average daily trade surplus in February last year. Overall trade fell, however, with February exports totalling US$16.29bn and imports totalling US$12.62bn, a 15.8% and 21.2% decrease on the average daily value of exports and imports respectively in February 2018.
