* The Mexican government has announced new measures to guarantee the supply of medicines. In a press release the federal finance ministry (SHCP) revealed that this would be done through a direct adjudication process between 16 April and 30 June and international tendering, with the aim of providing these goods during the second half of the year. According to the SHCP statement, these mechanisms seek to reduce the possibility of irregularities which affect the supply of medicines, with more information regarding these processes to be announced on 20 March.
