In brief: Brazil

* Brazil’s comptroller-general (CGU) and Chile’s secretary-general to the presidency have signed a cooperation agreement on the fight against corruption, reached last week during the bilateral meeting between Presidents Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and Sebastián Piñera of Chile. The objective of the agreement is to allow for the exchange of information, experiences and good practice on transparency and anti-corruption efforts, as well as binational conferences and seminars to improve training, and joint campaigns to promote a culture of integrity, legality, and transparency.
