VENEZUELA: Lima Group seeks to buttress support for Guaidó

On 15 April, foreign ministers representing Western Hemisphere nations in the Lima Group concluded a meeting in Santiago, Chile, by releasing a 17-point declaration urging the international community to take measures to isolate the de facto Venezuelan government led by Nicolás Maduro and support the restoration of democracy under the opposition figurehead and widely recognised interim president Juan Guaidó.
