PERU: Political storm over García suicide

Early in the morning of 17 April police and prosecutors arrived at the Lima home of Peru’s former president Alan García (1985-1990; 2006-2011) to arrest him as part of ongoing investigations into corrupt payments by the Brazilian construction company Odebrecht.
