* Colombia’s President Iván Duque and US Energy Secretary Rick Perry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding bilateral energy cooperation. According to a press release by the Colombian presidency, the MoU has various objectives – to promote the sharing of US experience of sustainable, environmentally friendly technology as well as promoting greater diversity in the energy matrix. According to the press release, the MoU will strengthen the existing bilateral relation in the energy sphere and seeks to enable Colombia to become more attractive for US investment in energy development.
