BOLIVIA-US: Aid cut off in reprisal for missiles leak

The Chinese missiles issue [SSR-05-10;12] has had both diplomatic and domestic political repercussions after the installation of the Morales administration. On the diplomatic front, it has led to the US military 'decertifying' Bolivia's counterterrorist unit and cutting off aid. On the political front, steps are being taken for congress to try former president Eduardo Rodrí­guez and some of his top officials for treason.
