* Brazil’s special secretariat for pensions and labour, part of the economy ministry, has informed that 129,600 formal jobs were created in April. This is the best result for April since 2013, bringing the accumulated number of formal jobs created in January-April 2019 to 313,835, and the total number of formal jobs in the country to 38.7m.
