In brief: Argentina

* Argentina’s request to have the US$320m restitution for the 2008 expropriation of Aerolíneas Argentinas airline annulled has been rejected by the World Bank's International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Argentina was ordered to pay that amount to Spain’s Grupo Marsans by the ICSID in 2017. The expropriation was spearheaded by former president Cristina Fernández (2007–2015) and approved by the national legislature.
