PERU: Vizcarra offers to give up his immunity

On 1 June, the local media revealed that President Martín Vizcarra had sent a letter to a prosecutor which states that he is willing to put himself at the disposal of the prosecutor’s office to answer any questions relating to complaints involving crimes against public administration which took place under his term as governor of the southern region of Moquegua (2011-2014).
