* Colombia’s state-owned oil company Ecopetrol has reported a discovery of crude oil at its Boranda-2 station, located in the municipality of Rionegro, Santander department. It was drilled from the same platform as the Boranda-1 discovery, at 1,200 metres southeast. According to Ecopetrol, during initial tests the well produced 2,397 barrels of oil accumulated, and recorded an average daily production of 960 barrels, with a water cut of less than 2%.
