* The Dominican Republic’s energy & mining minister, Antonio Isa Conde, has presented a potential 14 oil and gas exploration blocks that the government plans to put up for tender to 26 companies from 11 countries. The companies must send the required documents by 13 October to take part in the tender, and on 8 November the ministry will publish the list of companies prequalified to participate in the auction that will take place on 27 November in the US.
