* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released new figures which show that monthly inflation for July was 2.2%, bringing the year-on-year total to 54.4%. This follows a monthly inflation rate of 2.7% in June and 55.8% year-on-year figure. The July result marks the fifth consecutive month of falling monthly inflation.
