Cuban economy feels the heat from tighter US sanctions

As the US administration has increasingly sought to crack down on countries providing logistical or financial support to Venezuela, it has tightened sanctions on Cuba in recent months. As a result, Cuba’s domestic economy is feeling the strain, suffering from more acute shortages of petrol.
