ARGENTINA: Alberto takes his time
As this issue went to press Alberto Fernández had just been sworn in as Argentina’s new president. Fernández had delayed naming his full ministerial team until 6 December, a mere four days before taking over the presidency, a move which had Argentina’s creditors nervous in light of the major foreign debt renegotiation that is on the cards.
