A big year for elections in Caricom

Six of the Caribbean Community (Caricom)’s 15 member states are scheduled to hold elections in 2020. The roster includes the all-important vote in Guyana on 2 March and a general election in Trinidad & Tobago likely by September 2020. The other Caricom members holding general elections in 2020 are: Belize (by November), St Kitts & Nevis (February), St Vincent & the Grenadines (December), and Suriname (25 May).
