In brief: Investment in Panama’s construction sector on the rebound
*New figures released by Panama’s chamber of construction (Capac) show that in the first nine months of 2019, investment in Panama’s construction sector totalled US$805.5m, up 6% on the same period in 2018. This follows a decline of 49% in the first nine months of 2018 compared with the same period in 2017 when it totalled US$1.5bn.
