MEXICO: A worrying time for Pemex

The recent sharp fall in international oil prices is increasing speculation about a downgrade for Mexico’s state-owned oil firm, Pemex, by the international credit ratings agencies. That would complicate exploration efforts this year and almost certainly put the targeted 15% increase in crude production out of reach.
