Icefi forecasts that in the most optimistic scenario regional growth for 2020 could come in at 1.5%, while in the most pessimistic scenario, growth could contract by 4%. The report also notes that the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are forecasting growth for Central America to contract by 3.5% and 3% respectively.
