MEXICO-US | Calculating the flow of drug money. John Morton, US Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), said that annually between US$19bn and US$29bn is flowing illegally from the US to Mexico to finance the operations of organised crime. He made this statement during the presentation in Mexico City, on 2 June, of a joint US-Mexican report on illegal movements of funds.
