In brief: Private sector experts revise up forecast for Mexico’s GDP

* A group of private sector experts consulted by Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) have slightly improved their forecast for Mexico’s GDP for 2020, from the -9.10% estimated in November up to -8.99%. The experts also lowered their forecasts for inflation, expecting this to close 2020 at 3.38%, slightly down from 3.63% in their November estimate.
