BRAZIL | Coffee exports break records. On 18 January, Brazil’s council of coffee exporters (Cecafé) released a report on the coffee sector’s performance in 2020, according to which Brazil exported a record high 44.5m sacks of coffee last year (one sack = 60 kg). This represents a 9.4% increase on 2019 imports, while revenues totalled US$5.6bn, a 10.3% increase.
