ECUADOR: Vote count confusion sparks fraud allegations
On 10 February presidential candidate, Yaku Pérez, of the left-wing indigenous party Pachakutik, accused the country’s national electoral council (CNE) of committing electoral fraud, after the ongoing vote count showed him having moved down to third place in Ecuador’s 7 February general election.
