MEXICO: Gov’t faces setback over new biometric registry
On 20 April a federal judge, Juan Pablo Gómez Fierro, granted an appeal against a newly approved reform to Mexico's federal telecommunications law which requires mobile phone users to supply telecommunications providers with their personal biometric data for a new registry (Panaut).
