VENEZUELA: Eight soldiers released by guerrillas

After being held as hostages for over a month, eight Venezuelan soldiers have been released by their captors, members of the dissident 10th Front of the disbanded Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc) guerrilla group. The release appears to be part of a wider truce agreed after two months of fighting in and around the Venezuelan state of Apure.
