PARAGUAY: Negligence accusations mount for Abdo Benítez

The collapse of a road bridge that led to the death of three people and injured another three is the latest case of suspected gross negligence that the Paraguayan government led by President Mario Abdo Benítez must now face. The launch of a full investigation into the incident could unearth more corruption at the public works & communications ministry (MOPC) and further erode public support in the Abdo Benítez administration.
