HONDURAS: Political violence concerns grow ahead of election
A second suspect was detained last week in relation to the 25 July murder of Carolina Echeverría, a former national legislator for the opposition Partido Liberal (PL) (2006-2010), who was seeking re-election in the 28 November general election. Her murder has reignited familiar concerns regarding political violence ahead of the vote.
