Argentine opposition landslide in Corrientes

Provincial elections in Corrientes delivered a remarkable landslide for the national opposition-aligned governor, Gustavo Valdés, who won re-election with over 76% of the vote, more than 50 percentage points ahead of his main rival, Fabián Ríos, who lined up with the ruling centre-left federal coalition, Frente de Todos (FdT), and who gained the support of only 23% of the voters.
