ARGENTINA: The Martín and Kristalina show

The balance of probabilities still points to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) signing an agreement with Argentina sometime early next year. But the two key players in such a deal, the IMF’s managing director, Kristalina Georgieva, and Argentina’s economy minister, Martín Guzmán, are on personal and political roller coaster rides that could make things somewhat uncertain.
