BRAZIL: Reform easing fiscal rules advances amid criticisms

On 9 November, Brazil’s federal chamber of deputies approved in a second round of voting a constitutional reform known as the ‘PEC dos precatórios’, which allows for the staggered repayment of court-mandated state debt (known as ‘precatórios’) and eases fiscal rules.
