* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released its latest figures on industrial manufacturing and construction, which show that both activities grew year-on-year in September, but only industrial manufacturing increased compared with the previous month. The industrial manufacturing index grew 1.1% compared with August – the first positive variation after two months of contraction. It also expanded 10.1% year-on-year. Meanwhile activity in the construction sector shrank 2.2% in September compared with August but grew 12.4% year-on-year.
